1. What data we collect

Account: email, nickname, city, date of birth (provided during sign-up).
Votes: ID of chosen and rejected cards, vote timestamp.
Technical data: IP address, User-Agent, country (derived from IP).
Analytics: anonymous navigation events via GoatCounter (no cookies).

2. How we use data

Build your Taste DNA (taste profile).
Generate rankings and leaderboards.
Moderate content and prevent abuse.
Improve the product and user experience.

3. Storage & sharing

Data is stored on Supabase servers (EU-West-1, AWS). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except as required by law.

4. Your rights

Export all your data (Settings → Export data).
Delete your account and all data (Settings → Delete account).
Manage analytics consent (Settings → Privacy).

5. Cookies

We use only one httpOnly cookie to maintain your authenticated session. No tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Age

HOT TOP is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA/GDPR-K)

We comply with COPPA (US) and GDPR (EU). If you believe a minor under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate statistics may be retained indefinitely.
